for 3 to 5 years of age :

Our activities are focused around the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.  Our objective is essentially to prepare your child for full time education, and to ensure that this is done as  effectively as possible.  We have now recruited a retired teacher to guide and encourage our children during Pre-school hours.  The Saints room is where we do small group activities for example listening games, introduce telling the time, communication, language and literacy, problem solving, reasoning and numeracy.

During your child's session we will offer a well planned purposeful curriculum which comprises of activities which are structured around each child’s individual developmental needs, as well as a broad choice of play activities  on which we place great emphasis.

Daily diaries are kept for each child which keeps you up to date on their nutritional intake and well being.

We hold daily singing music/movement sessions which are accompanied by an electric piano and the children actively use the more simple musical instruments.

The children are encouraged to enjoy books and familiarise themselves with a computer.
